FTC & Amazon Compliance

Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: September 2026

Summary of Operating Model

Ruvole itself is not an Amazon Associate and does not collect, receive, or take a cut of any retail commissions generated from customer outfit boards. All outbound Amazon links generated on Ruvole utilize the user's own Amazon Associate tracking tag.

1. Amazon Associates Operating Agreement

When creators share boards created with Ruvole, each link contains their personal Amazon tracking ID (e.g., yourname-20). Under the Amazon Associates Program Operating Agreement, participants must clearly and conspicuously state:

"As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases."

Ruvole automatically provides this compliant disclaimer in all copy-paste social captions and export widgets generated inside the workspace.

2. FTC Endorsement Guidelines

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires creators and publishers to disclose commercial relationships whenever sharing links that may result in financial compensation. Creators using Ruvole to share links on Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, or personal blogs must ensure their posts include clear and conspicuous disclosures (such as #ad, #affiliate, or #AmazonAssociate) placed before the user clicks or expands the description.

3. Real-Time Pricing and Availability

Product pricing and availability on Amazon fluctuate in real time. Because Ruvole does not display static outdated prices that could mislead shoppers, product cards show relative budget tier markers (e.g., $, $$, $$$). Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon.com at the time of purchase will apply to the purchase of that product.

4. Ruvole Partner / Referral Program Disclosure

Ruvole operates an affiliate partner program where creators earn a 10% monthly recurring commission for introducing other paying creators to Ruvole software subscriptions. When partners share referral links (e.g., ruvole.com?ref=creator), they receive compensation upon qualifying subscriptions.
